Measuring A Wheel Chair

During a recent pre-operation Q&A visit regarding his upcoming surgery, Garrett was measured for a new wheel chair. He is 14 years old and has never had a new wheel chair custom fit to his body type. Due to restrictions in insurance, and pricing he has been limited to hand-me-down wheel chairs. One in particular was given to him after the previous owner, another child with EB, passed away. This wheel chair pictured here was given to him by a family friend who no longer need it.
Even though it is uncertain whether his insurance will cover this new wheel chair, the order is still processed and submitted to a distributor near the family’s house.
