When the Canadian board of tourism installed an urban zipline in downtown San Francisco, and offered free rides, you can be sure that people took advantage of it. The last day of the event I took to the Justin Herman plaza to document the event. After I made sure that I photographed what I need with my Canon 5D, I decided to pull out the iphone and see just how far I could push it to capture fast moving subjects. I used an app called hipstamatic for the iphone which allowed me to use a high grain b&w film style. It took many tries to capture this photo because a combination of the shutter lag on the phone and the limited view of the camera application. In the end it worked out great.
